FUKUSHIMA JAPANESE　SCHOOL

　The Distinctives of our Japanese Language Education

　This　institute　is　designed　to　promote　relation　ship　through　teaching
　the Japanese language and culture.
　An additional purpose is to help foreign students who plan to enter
　colleges and vocational schools in Japan after mastering the language.
　Fukushima the seat of the prefectural government, is located in the
　Tohoku(northeast) district, where people can enjoy beautiful scenery in
　every season, and sense true spirit of Japan.
　It is also a peaceful, rural city in which institutions such as National
　Fukushima University, Fukushima Prefectural Medical College,
　The Holy Mother Women's Junior College of the Cherry, Fukushima
　Gakuin University, the prefectural library and art museum are
　located. Therefore, it is an ideal place to inspire and encourage students
　to learn. It is also designed to help each student move easily through the
　various levels of the curriculum at his or her own pace. And programs
　such as guided tours, field trips, sports, individual speech contest, and
　interaction with sponsors are a great benefit to the students.
　The teachers, who have also had teaching experiences in China, Europe,
　and other countries, not only teach Japanese language
　and culture, but also help foster international understanding and friendship

【　ENTRANCE PROCEDURE　】

Qualification	1)　The successful completion of the basic 12years or longer of school education 　　in his/her home country.
	2)　A person who passed the Japanese language proficiency test level4,or 　　who studied Japanese more than 150 hours.
	3)　A person who has definite aim of studying.
	4)　A person who passed adequate financial funds for 2years studying in the school. 　　or has a financial guarantor who support financially with responsibility. 　　(be related by birth.) 　　Pre-college students are not allowed to work in principle, in case a student get 　　a permit from an immigration bureau, a student can engage in part time 　　employment within 4hours a day. 　　Consequently a guarantor should have financial responsibility to pay necessary 　　fees for student's life in Japan.
	5)　Within 3years after graduation from the last school.

◆Aim of school

１）To teach Japanese language to students from all over the world
　　who want to enter a higher education institute in Japan.
２）To help students learn Japanese culture and to promote
　　international fellowship among Japan and other countries

◆Period of school and course

The school has two courses; 1.5 year course and two year course.
The school has two terms each year; April term and October term.
(An application should be accepted six months before each course starts)

◆Courses offered and the number of lessons

The school offers two kinds of courses as follows.
A：Advanced Course
　　　For those who are going to enter the national, public or private university.
　　　Teaching hour is 20 hours each week.
B：3-month Course
　　　For those who are interested in the Japanese language.
　　　Teaching hour is 20 hours each week

◆Procedure to select applicants

The admission committee select out of applicants according to applicants documents.
Applicants admitted by the committee have to get certificate of Eligibility from the ministry of justice.

Note:
The fee that was once paid will not be refunded.

If Japanese embassy or Consulate disapproves of providing visa,
You should send your passport(original)
To our school, and we will refund the fees you paid subtracting \100,000.
Those who doesn't agree to the preceding clause or whose visa denial is supposed,
Refrain from application.
And if you can not come to Japan for your private reason,
You should send your Certificate of authorization
and your statement. in the case.
We will refund the fees you paid subtracting \70,000.

◆Enrollment Procedure

The applicant must perform procedures for enrollment within 7 days after
arriving in Japan. Any applicant who doesn't perform the procedure the
above will not be admitted to the school.

he or she must submit the following documents to the school:
